Raymond
Harvest Festival - Saturday, August 27, 2011
Raymond
hosted the 42nd
Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, August 27, 2011. The
day was filled with
lots of fun family-friendly activities, so we're glad you joined
us to see why Everybody Loves Raymond!
The
Harvest Festival kicked off at 7:00 a.m. with the Dad's Belgian
Waffle feed followed by the 11th Annual "Run
Around Raymond" 5k race. The Start/Finish
Line for both races was at MACCRAY East Elementary School. The 5K
(USA Track & Field Nationally Certified - #MN-02019-RR) was
run on a beautiful grass course that winds around Hawk
Creek Country Club (HCCC) and through Raymond’s scenic
nature trail, finishing up on pavement. There was one water station
near the 2 mile mark. The mile course (primarily grass) also ran
near the HCCC golf course. For more Information: contact Kevin or
Bonnie Hauser at 320-967-4774 or bkhauser@willmar.com.
A Craft
& Flea Market was set up downtown starting at 9:00 a.m.
At the Community Center, the Raymond Garden Club
hosted the Harvest Fest Garden Show & Market.
First through third place ribbons were awarded in each category
- with a Grand Prize overall and a People's Choice Award. There

and vegetables.

Pedal Tractor Pull, Kids Games, a Petting
